PEPFAR Monitor

The Global AIDS Alliance is committed to ensuring that the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) advances a comprehensive HIV prevention strategy that includes condom distribution; accelerates progress toward universal treatment access, including making generic medications available as appropriate; and meets standards for transparency and local ownership of project planning and implementation. GAA is also monitoring PEPFAR's investments in programs for orphans and vulnerable children. Click here to download GAA's fact sheet on PEPFAR.

PEPFAR is administered by the Office of the US Global AIDS Coordinator (OGAC) at the State Deaprtment. Click here to access the official PEPFAR website.

This web page catalogs selected media and reports assessing PEPFAR's effectiveness, as well as materials produced by PEPFAR and other US government agencies.
